Terms of Use
Last updated: 4 November 2026
These Terms of Use apply to Emma Wolf (https://www.emmawolf.com/) and to the other websites and online tools of the Emma Wolf projects that link to them (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Services. Apps, games and paid services may have additional terms, which apply together with these.
1. Who we are
The Services are provided by Imre FARKAS, a private individual (natural person) from Odorheiu Secuiesc, Harghita County, Romania, who runs the Emma Wolf projects ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@emmawolf.com.
2. Using the Services
You may use the Services for lawful purposes and in line with these terms. You must not:
- break the law, infringe the rights of others or use the Services to distribute unlawful, harmful or offensive content;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services, other users' accounts or our systems, or interfere with their operation (for example by overloading them, or by automated mass downloading or scraping);
- spread malware, spam or other unwanted messages;
- misrepresent your identity or your connection with us.
3. Accounts
Some Services require an account or an Emma Wolf ID. Please give accurate information, keep your sign-in details secret and tell us without delay if you suspect misuse. You are responsible for activities carried out with your account. You can stop using your account at any time and ask us to delete it. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms.
4. Your content
Content that you upload or save in the Services remains yours. You give us the right to store, process and display it only to the extent needed to provide the Services to you. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload. We may remove content that clearly breaks the law or these terms.
5. Intellectual property
The Services and their content (including program code, design, texts, graphics, the Emma Wolf name and logo and the names and logos of our projects) belong to us or to our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and use them for your own personal purposes. Copying, republishing, selling or redistributing them requires our prior written permission, unless the law allows it. You may link to our pages, but you may not display them inside frames of another website in a way that hides their origin.
6. Paid services and donations
Where a Service is offered for a fee (for example paid support), the price and the content of the service are shown before you pay. Payments and donations are processed by PayPal under its own terms. Donations are voluntary and do not create an entitlement to any service.
7. Availability and changes
We continuously develop the Services. We may change, suspend or discontinue a Service or a feature, and we cannot guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. Where a change significantly affects a Service you use with an account, we will try to inform you in advance.
8. Information on the websites
We prepare the information on our websites with care, but we cannot guarantee that it is always complete, accurate and up to date. It does not constitute professional advice.
9. Links and third-party services
The Services contain links to other websites and use services of third parties (such as Google and PayPal). Their own terms and privacy policies apply to them, and we are not responsible for their content.
10. Your rights as a consumer and liability
If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights that the law of your country of residence gives you, in particular the statutory rights concerning digital content and services (for example under Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance no. 141/2021 and EU Directive 2019/770). Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
Services provided free of charge are offered "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage or for loss of data; please keep your own copies of important content. We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health, as provided by law.
11. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and our Cookies Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the Services or the law change. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update at the top. Changes do not apply retroactively.
13. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim before the courts of that country. Please contact us first at hello@emmawolf.com: most questions can be solved quickly. Consumers in Romania can also turn to the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC, anpc.ro).
